This section is divided into:-
Note: All of these phrases are spelt 'phonetically' - that is they are spoken as they are spelt in
the English language. You will often find varying spelling of many of the phrases, because at the
end of the day it is quite hard to translate the Korean pronunciation. However, these are near
enough for you to get a good idea how to say each phrase/word.
Stances (Sohgi)
| Naranhi Sohgi | 'Parallel' stance |
| Pyonhi Sohgi | Ready stance (i.e. "at ease") |
| Moa Sohgi | 'Closed feet' stance |
